“Health and fitness have always played a pretty important role in my life but it wasn’t until I met Sydney that I realized what I was fully capable of conquering and that after all these years of “working out” I’ve been cheating myself. Through Sydney’s enthusiasm and compassion, she has given me the confidence and encouragement that I was missing in achieving my goals and truly becoming the athlete I’ve always wanted to be! I have been training with her now for several months and I have seen dramatic changes in my physical appearance, energy levels, strength and stamina. For all that Sydney has done for me physically, more importantly she has conditioned my mind, reshaped my attitude and has inspired me to make it a way of life. She’s an outstanding and extremely skilled trainer, a great friend, and a positive influence for whoever crosses her path!”
“The improvement even in the last 2 weeks, to me, is remarkable to say the least! The difference, in me, my outlook on life, and my zest for life is unbelievable! Sydney has been there, every step, supporting me, encouraging me, and even kicking me in the butt when I need it. I cannot express to you enough the impact that Sydney has had on me! Not only does she know what she is doing as a trainer, but she truly cares about the people that she works with. She even laughs at my bad jokes! Sydney is just simply and awesome trainer, and person!”
"It was a weight loss contest before my trip to Cayman for Christmas with friends that started it all and I didn’t come in 1st, but in the end I did win. I made the choice to contact a personal trainer and had a meeting with Sydney Cummings. After talking with her and putting me through a brief work out, I realized how out of shape I really was and that I needed this more than ever. I was over 350lbs; had high blood pressure, breathing issues, and my body ached at the end of the day from trying to support my heavy frame. I decided I need to make the commitment and sign up with her. I initially started meeting with her 2 times per week and then kept upping until it was 5 days a week. This shocked me because I never thought I would get addicted to working out and would enjoy it so much. Even as I type this I get emotional at the where the journey has taken me so far. My life is changed so much for the better. Sydney has become a good friend and someone that has challenged me, pushed me, and supported me through the past 5 months. With her help I have lost weight, learned to eat better, and to be happier. This is not the end, but the end of the beginning. The future is bright and I look forward to continued progress in health and happiness.”
“Wanting to work out has never been easy for me. Running is something I always enjoyed but it wasn't doing much for my physique anymore. After training with Sydney for the past 5 months, I've found I look forward to working out and seeing how I can push myself to new limits. She has kept me accountable while still keeping it fun and rewarding. I get compliments now about my arms and back and legs. I have incredible energy that I probably didn't have in my teenage years. When I go for a longer run now, I've found I'm much faster and stronger.
The best part is that Sydney is full of energy and inspiration. She truly walks the walk and doesn't just talk the talk. She brings an individual touch to each workout and knows how to motivate without criticism or judgment. Her workouts are challenging and also achievable, especially if you're willing to push yourself just a little harder or go a little longer.”
“I have been training with Sydney since the beginning of the year. I’ve had trainers in the past, and to be honest, most if not all of my experiences have been pretty good. I tend to think I’m an easy client in that I’m inherently hard working and enthusiastic when I’m in the gym. That’s not to say I always “enjoy” being there. But this is where Sydney has really set herself apart from anybody else with whom I’ve trained. While Sydney expects a good effort in every session, it’s her positive reinforcement that makes me feel like I can do just about anything and makes me want to get the most out of my session not just for myself, but for her as well. I never feel like the workouts that are presented to me are “impossible” to finish and that I’m defeated even before I start. That is in NO way saying they aren’t strenuous and exhausting; the time we spend together is far from easy and there have been several times that I could see myself stopping or calling it quits halfway through. But Sydney keeps me going and makes sure I know that technique is more important that how fast I can get something done. That alone gives me to motivation to take a few extra seconds to recuperate and then get back at it. The “great jobs”, fist bumps and pats on the back are plentiful and it’s amazing how much little stuff like that keeps you going. Finally, I think it’s important to understand (and Sydney has done a great job reinforcing this) that to get where I want to be, it’s not just up to her and our time together. It’s on me and my diet and other things that she has no control over. So I’ve taken a lot of what she has said to heart in an effort to make myself better in many ways.
I really enjoy working with Sydney and highly recommend her.”
“I have had an amazing experience with Sydney and would recommend Royal Change to anyone. The personalization of your workout and training is incredible- there isn't some mass produced "one size fits all" approach to the workouts and they are constantly changed and updated to push you as your body changes and adapts. Everyday my workout was something new, and I was never bored or felt unmotivated. Also the support that Sydney gave me… I didn't feel like the relationship was just during those two 30-min sessions/week- I could text her about anything and I felt like I had her support. It kept me accountable- the motivation didn't end when I left the gym, it kept me thinking about my fitness and diet 24/7.”
